SPC Wins in 10 Categories at Graphics Excellence Awards

While we believe that our success is based on how well our clients connect with their audiences through the work we create with them — it’s also an honor to be acknowledged by our peers in the print industry.

Since 1886, The Great Lakes Graphics Association (GLGA) has been dedicated to advancing the success of the printing and graphics industry. Working together with Printing Industries of America, the world’s largest graphic arts trade association, GLGA represents the three-state region of Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin and provides training, resources, and a voice of advocacy on both a state and national level.

For over 20 years, the GLGA has recognized standout achievements in printing from our region through the largest annual print competition, the Graphics Excellence Awards (GEA). The GEA are the best of the best in our industry, and SPC is proud to be among the highest level of recipients for these awards — from printers, design firms, ad agencies, in-plant printing operations, as well as recognized students. This year, we took home 15 awards in a variety of different categories, all rated based on technical expertise, print quality, design, and overall graphic appeal.

We appreciate all the effort and time the GLGA puts into the GEA as well as the expertise of the judges who reviewed the submissions and recognized our work. We are also honored and appreciative of our clients for putting their trust in us for our exceptional capabilities, hardworking team, and overarching commitment to produce the best direct mail in the industry. Here is the list of our awarded entries:

Our Best of Category Winner

This award is known as the Gutenberg, presented to the most outstanding entry in each category, and the recipients will go on to compete in the national Benny awards. SPC won for a piece submitted in the “Variable Data Digital Printing” Category.
