SPC’s new Strategic Accounts Manager

In early August, SPC completed the acquisition of CPS Cards, extending our expertise in gift card & loyalty card personalization and fulfillment programs. With that acquisition, SPC was lucky to have Tricia join the SPC Sales Team. Her experience in consultative sales and print-driven marketing programs will be a valuable addition. Get to know her a little more in our Q&A.
How did you get into the gift/loyalty card industry and what initially drew you to it?
I launched my career at a direct mail lettershop, where I focused on healthcare, benefits, and loyalty cards. When the opportunity arose to join CPS Cards, I jumped at the chance to broaden my expertise and dive into the fast-paced world of gift card management and production.
What excited you most about SPC’s acquisition of CPS Cards?
The massive expansion of our combined product offerings is incredibly exciting. SPC has remarkable capabilities across so many different sectors of the printing market. Integrating our specialized gift card expertise creates a perfect complement to those services, allowing us to deliver a complete, powerful suite of solutions to our clients.
What do you enjoy most about your role and what keeps you motivated?
I love that no two days look the same! This role is super multi-faceted and fast-moving. Between new tech upgrades and better ways of manufacturing, I’m genuinely learning something new every single day, which keeps things fresh and exciting.
If you could give your Day 1 self one piece of advice, what would it be?
Focus heavily on building great relationships from the start. At the end of the day, clients stick around because they trust you and know you’re reliable. That trust doesn’t just come from a salesperson—it’s built by the entire team working together.
Outside of work, what are your favorite hobbies?
In my free time, I enjoy running, hiking, or planning my next trip. More than anything, I love hanging out with my kids and taking care of our family’s many pets!
