Returning to familiar Grounds – Welcome Back to SPC, Dalton Bryant

After starting as an intern and working as an account manager for four years, Dalton has found his way back to SPC after spending a couple of years elsewhere. His return brings exciting insights and experiences that are sure to contribute to the continued growth and success of SPC.

What prompted your return to SPC?

Simply put, I missed my SPC family. There is nothing like the warm welcome that you receive when walking into an SPC plant. Since leaving, I have not found the same connection to my work or coworkers as I found here at SPC. I am excited to learn and grow in my new role at SPC.

From your perspective, how has SPC evolved since the last time you were here and what aspects have stayed the same?

SPC continues to invest in its growth. Not only has SPC physically evolved, but the people that I started with are also advancing in their respective roles. It is great to see SPC investing in its employees and developing their skills to grow in their careers.

SPC also now offers fulfillment services to our customers. This is something that I gained a lot of experience in my roles since leaving and am excited to see how I can apply what I learned.

What skills and insights have you gained from your time away and how will you apply them to your new position?

I learned about building Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for my clients to help maintain and grow relationships. As a Strategic Accounts Executive at SPC, I will use these skills to help grow relationships with my customers.

How is your new role different than what you were doing previously at SPC?

In my previous position, I oversaw projects once they were launched. Being a Strategic Accounts Representative at SPC means I’m a leader in every aspect of client engagement. I’m focused on being a strategic expert my clients can rely on to deliver innovative solutions that drive results.

You now live in Michigan. What’s the deal with the Michigan vs Michigan State rivalry?

I live right outside of Ann Arbor, so I am naturally a Michigan fan. I became an even bigger fan this March when our daughter was born and needed NICU care at the University of Michigan Mott’s Children’s Hospital. We are all Victors in our family now to support our Little Victor! Aside from that bias, the Michigan vs. Michigan State rivalry is a fun one to be around and will always be a big deal in our state. GO BLUE!
