First held on June 5, 1974, World Environment Day is the United Nations’ principal vehicle for encouraging awareness and action for the protection of our environment. Over the years, World Environment Day has grown to become the largest global platform for environmental public outreach. Governments, corporations, and communities in over 143 countries participate annually.

This year, Colombia will host World Environment Day in partnership with Germany. Millions are expected to attend in person or participate in online celebrations. SPC is eagerly participating, and we invite all our customers, suppliers, and friends to join in.
