To celebrate, this year we’re planting 2,500 new trees.
Specialty Print Communications of Niles, IL celebrates a significant business milestone today. We’re honoring 25 years in business by partnering with One Tree Planted, which will plant 2,500 seedlings in hard-hit areas across the United States. In addition to the 2,500 trees, we are proud to recognize our 25th Anniversary with the planting of a commemorative maple tree outside our Mailing Facility located at 7420 N. Lehigh Ave. in Niles. The tree symbolizes our growth as a company, our hope for continued strong roots as we look to the future and respect for our unique responsibility to help sustain print marketing’s most precious resource.
Ready. Set. Grow.
We invite you to consider a donation to One Tree Planted so we can all make the world a better place.

Our Roots.
Arthur LeFebvre started what became Specialty Print Communications in 1938 with the purchase of a Gordon Press, currently on display in the East Building at SPC. In 1949, he moved into a modest print shop at 3333 W. Belmont in Chicago. We’re guessing at that time he wasn’t even considering the idea that one day his son, Paul, born the following year, would be the next generation running the business.
Through decades of hard work and determination, Arthur LeFebvre’s company would grow and expand while Paul was developing his own interest in the print industry. Paul eventually took over the business at the ripe old age of twenty-one and methodically upgraded the presses, building upon the foundation laid by his father. In the meantime, yet another generation of printers was entering the world.
Paul’s sons grew up around the business and it came as no surprise that they went off to college at Western Michigan University, entering the school’s Graphic and Printing Science program. Upon graduation from WMU, Paul’s eldest son, Adam, entered the world of print marketing with his brothers soon to follow. Over time, Adam took the reins of the company, effectively keeping the business in the family for a third generation.
Adam re-organized and incorporated SPC on May 13, 1996. The business has grown exponentially over the years, now employing over 400 people, expanding from one building to three with over 400,000 square feet of space. SPC now mails approximately 1 billion pieces of mail annually and is transforming into a fully integrated marketing services organization with capabilities across print and digital channels.
We just keep growing. Naturally.
Since the beginning, SPC has invested time, talent and resources into eco-friendly alternatives, recycling and technologies. Each print program we deliver for you is built on environmentally sustainable best practices.
It’s always been our business to care more than our competition.
For the past 25 years, SPC has thrived on a foundation of creativity, integrity, innovation and sustainability built by every member of the dedicated SPC team. There are so many reasons to feel proud of this milestone. But our biggest source of pride comes from our years-long relationship with our clients and partners.
