A new option within the Integrated Technology Promotion, the AI promotion seeks to “leverage Artificial Intelligence to simplify the process of creating an exciting, impactful mailpiece”. Use AI to efficiently generate unique copy and images to craft a message that resonates with recipients…and enjoy a 3% postal discount!

Using AI tools such as Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, marketers can now generate unique copy and images to help craft impactful content.

To Qualify

Option 1: Generating mail copy using AI tools.

Option 2: Generating images using AI tools.

Qualifying Content

• Call to action / directional copy
• Supporting text (minimum one complete sentence)
• Minimum of one AI-generated image

Note: Image(s) must be clearly related to the mailpiece.

To Gain USPS Approval

Submissions must include a digital file (e.g., PDF) containing a prompt and the AI tool’s output.

• Prompt must be visible alongside output in an unedited file AND a short description of how the tool was used.

Note: This can also be a link to prompt and output.

• If the incorporated copy or image does not entirely match AI-generated output, explain what changes were made to the output and why.

There must be a clear relationship between the prompt and the output. Mailpiece imagery or copy must entirely match the AI tool’s output unless edits are explained.
