
Tell us a little about your background and what led you to join the SPC sales team.
I grew up in the business and was told to stay out of it. I am glad I did not listen. I have been fortunate to help create some beautiful and meaningful print components and programs for customers over the years. In addition, I have met some amazing people and many have become lifelong friends.
I joined SPC after many years of working with the staff and management team in a different capacity. When the opportunity arose, both of us jumped at the chance to finally work together.
What experience from your previous roles has prepared you for this position?
My goal is always to be solution-oriented and innovative. SPC fits the same mindset.
What motivates you in the world of sales, and how do you approach building relationships with clients?
I am motivated to do things that others may not want to try. I love working out solutions and watching them truly work for the benefit of my customers. Relationships are built on mutual trust and respect. It takes time, but it is the hallmark of what makes for a true partnership.
What advice would you give someone just starting in the print industry and/or sales?
Work really, really hard and you will achieve your personal goals. Enjoy the ride and try and learn something new each day. Sales are not for the faint of heart. It is a 24/7 commitment. Your customers are relying on you.
Outside of work, what are your favorite hobbies?
Spending time with my family. Fishing every chance I get – tight lines!
